2300894 Doctoral Dissertation Seminar
This seminar class including Ph.D. students of the three programs (2300894 Biological Sciences, 2303894 Zoology, and 2305894 Botany programs)*.
Date and time: Wednesday at 1 pm
Venue: Room 224, Biology I Building, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University
*Students must register the subject code of their program either 2300894, 2303894, or 2305894.

Rules for the seminar class
The TA team will organize your presentation schedule and summarize your results of class attendance and presentation.
Contact the TA team via Google classroom or email (tabiosci@gmail.com)
Select your presentation date and inform the TA team each semester.
The new-entering students in that semester will get the priority to secure their presentation date in the last week of class.
For proposal or dissertation defense: please reserve the slot for your presentation and the TA team will secure the time slot.
For class absence please fill in the Google form here and attach a required document as mention below:
Field trip >> inform the TA team at least one week prior your trip.
Sick leave >> inform the TA team within the week that you get absent with a certified medical document.
Research aboard >> after received a permission from the committee, please inform the TA team in the first week of seminar class by sending a leave letter with an approval from your advisor.
Personal leave >> inform the TA team as soon as possible.
Abstract submission:
Prepare an abstract using a format announced in the Google classroom, save as a PDF format and post on Google classroom using this format.
Title: xxxxxxxxxxxxx (Seminar I/Progress I/Proposal) presented by Name Surname (Biological Sciences/Biology/Botany) on xx Month Year
A deadline for abstract post is at 11:59 PM on Monday prior to your presentation date*. (If you fail to submit the abstract in time, you may fail the criteria of seminar evaluation).
The TA team will help to organize/liaison the schedule, check the class attendance and the numbers of required questions, and post the summarize the evaluation.
The results of evaluation will be sent to the presenter directly.
Presentation: all speakers come to the class at least 15 minutes before the class to upload and check the presentation files.
